Making an impact that matters
Here at Tru X we are continuously evolving how we work and how we look at Black community challenges so we can deliver measurable, sustainable results for our members and develop basic programs that serve the basic interest of the Black community.
Tru X is concentrating on building an alternative economic system that combines capitalism and corporatism from the ground up. Inspired by the rich history of the struggles and resistance by Blacks (ADOS), we are committed to building institutions rooted in community power that combine politics and economic development into an alternative model for change while addressing the real, immediate needs of the Black community.
Tru X is committed to economic democracy and radical participatory governance. The Tru X Economic Development Cooperative, LLC concept contains contributions from well-known organizers (i.e. Dr. W. E. B. Du Bois, Dr.Amos Wilson, Dr. John Henrik Clark, Dr. Claud Anderson, Booker T. Washington, and Marcus M)
Our philosophy is intercommunal, interconnecting communities of the African Diaspora
The Economics of intercommunalism is internalizing the wealth generated by our communities.
